This year, we will be offering 4 workshops. Attendees will be able to attend 2.
Be an Ally to The Cause^
Speaker: Micah Johnson When fighting a battle, you need your fighters, but you also need your allies. Before you are able to fight this battle for gender equality, it is important to understand where you stand in the fight. What position do you stand in and what power do you have that will benefit this cause? We each bring something different to the table and it is vitally important to recognize and understand yours in order to play to your strengths. **Recommended for men**
Transgender Equality^
Moderator: Dr. Carlos A. Hernandez Panelists: Chloë Goldbach, Aubrey Krampert, Ellie Gaustria
When advocating for gender equality, we are not only advocating for cisgender folk, but also transgender folk. The transgender community has endured countless hardships and struggles that often go unheard of. Members of this community are every bit as entitled to equality as cisgender folk and their voices deserve to be heard. Join us and listen to these transwomen’s experiences and opinions in regards to gender equality
In this Together*
Speaker: Reilly-Owen Clemens Contrary to popular belief, women empowerment does not include and affect exclusively women. It involves all everyone. Women empowerment advocates for gender equality for all genders. We live in a world where individuals are treated unfairly based on their gender and the only way to fight for equality, is to fight together.

Too often we wait and yearn for others’ approval and praise. We have been encouraged to measure our self worth by the number of likes we receive, the number of facebook friends we have, and the amount of recognition others give us. When really, the most important approval comes from yourself. So why wait for others recognition when you can be your own inspiration? #MotivationCrushMonday #WorldChangerWednesday
